Absolutely cannot recommend Dr. Kranz and her team enough!! My pug puppy somehow got into our compost and became disoriented. My vet couldn’t squeeze me in, so my husband suggested to call Mountain Lake. They were able to see us right away, and Dr. Krantz and her amazing staff were waiting for us by the door to take him immediately back. The amount of care and love that was shown to us was amazing! Her bedside manner was so genuine and caring. We will now be switching our fur babies to her practice for good.
Dr. Kranz is hands down the best doctor in the area and I trust her every suggestion when it comes to my pets. She gets so personal with pets, sitting on the floor, and takes her time if they’re nervous.
I’ve been with Dr Amy Kranz for over 10 years. She is hands down the best vet I’ve ever met. She has so much compassion and love for animals. She always takes the extra time to listen and explain everything in detail. I love how she treats my pets as if they were her own. When my 6 year old dog had cancer she was there for me day or night and was with us through the very end. Her tech, Perla, is also wonderful and takes such great care of us. I feel very blessed to have such a great vet for my fur babies. You won’t be disappointed! Dr Kranz and her team are like family to us.
Thank you for the care you have provided for my chihuahua, Winnie. You have kept her feeling well even though she is hypothyroid and has allergies. Dr Kranz is a good listener, and seemed to value my input when making decisions about Winnie’s care. I would entrust any pet to her care.
I was so happy to hear that Dr. Kranz was opening her own practice! Years ago, Dr. Kranz provided a second opinion that saved our dog’s life. Years later, she was there for our dog and for us when our dog finally passed at 16 years of age. But what really prompts me to write this recommendation is just who she is as a person. Dr. Kranz is knowledgeable, kind, and honest. I am a pediatrician and Dr. Kranz is an example to me of how to not only care for a patient, but also how to support an entire family. I will end by simply saying that Dr. Kranz is an awesome veterinarian!
Dr. Amy Kranz has been treating our 12 year old Aussie, Kimmie, for a couple years. Dr. Kranz’s concern and care for Kimmie’s health have shown that she is truly the compassionate and competent veterinarian we have been looking for since our previous vet retired. We consider her a friend as well as the person upon whom we can rely to address issues that have presented with our sweet, senior pup. We trust her to make accurate diagnosis and conservative treatment to keep our Kimmie happy and well, and give us reassurance that our pup is in good hands. We recommend Dr. Kranz with full confidence to treat your pet as well.
Dr. Amy Kranz, Mountain Lake Family Vet, is a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. I have gone to her for many years for both my dogs and cats. She kept my little terrier alive for three years even though he had a serious heart problem with her astute diagnosis and treatment plan. When it is time to say goodbye, she is so understanding and helpful in that very sad process. She is the type of person who will not hesitate to sit on the floor with a fearful pet. Her sense of humor helps calm a nervous owner and/or pet. Her staff is equally qualified and considerate.
Dr. Amy Kranz was an amazing Vet to our dog, Pedro, for many years. Pedro was a large mixed breed dog with lots of unique health concerns. Dr. Kranz was excellent at creating treatment plans that gave him an amazing quality of life for over 15 years. We were most impressed with how much she cared for our dog, and in turn for us.
